Define a 31B's daily lifestyle.?

I'm joining the Army soon, My MOS's I selected were 31B, 88M, 11B, now I am very interested in 31B, as after the Army I want to become a State Trooper, so this expierence could boost me along with College. So theres alot of questions, but mainly off the record:

1.) Define there lifestyle, when they are or are not deployed
2.) Define the training, difficulties, things I should have in my head upon entry of AIT
3.) Will my background affect my chances of approval for the MOS? I have never been arrested, or anything of the such, but I have abused Marijuana around 3 times when I was around 13-14, will this break my chances? If so should I just not inform the recruiter? or what?
4.) What are some strong things to have in mind when selecting this MOS, large skills? I for one study Criminal Law in Highschool right now, and am fascinated with the subject. I am levelheaded, and a calm individual who works well under pressure. I am trustworthy and kind, and understanding.

So someone help me out :)
